Through its bilingual storytelling, it shows reading as a true superpower, a power every kid has inside!

Live stand-up comedy on the Kapiti Coast in support of Paekākāriki School. Come and enjoy a great night of laughs for a great cause.

With headline act Li'i Alaimoana -- Multi Award-winning and Billy T Award nominee, Li'i makes a return to the stage after a 2-year break. Back with great stories of family life, songs and good-natured comedy, Li'i is a firm Kiwi favourite.

Jim Stanton -- With a life full of distraction, derailment and small dependents, Jim Stanton is back on the comedy stage with her unique wit tinged with silliness and frustration.

Door sales are available, but best to book early and often!

Open level - beginners welcome anytime.
Bring your partner, your friends, workmates, and acquaintances. Or come on your own. During the class, together, we will build a safe and encouraging environment to help you connect with the music, the partner, and the floor and eventually make your way to your own tango.

Mark will introduce you to the fundamentals of Argentine Tango, tango history and urban legends. The lessons will teach you how to walk the tango and how to turn, which is technically all you need in order to dance. There will be some anxious moments no doubt and some good laughs too.
The tango is a social dance so we’ll be swapping partners regularly anyway – unless you don’t want to of course, that is good too.

Bring smooth-soled shoes. Leather or suede is ideal. Or some old socks, either on your feet or over your shoes! Comfy clothes you can move in are good.
